Close Read 2A

Close Reading 2A helps students strengthen their reading comprehension and analytical thinking through engaging National Geographic texts. Students learn to identify key ideas, analyze supporting details, make inferences, and understand how authors develop information and viewpoints. Through close reading, vocabulary study, discussion, and evidence-based responses, learners expand their academic vocabulary and develop the skills needed to understand increasingly complex texts. This course encourages students to become confident, independent readers who can think critically about what they read.
