Close Read 1B

Close Reading 1B builds upon the skills developed in 1A and challenges students to engage with more complex texts and ideas. Using authentic National Geographic readings, students strengthen their ability to analyze key details, make inferences, identify author’s purpose, and evaluate information from a variety of topics. Through close reading, vocabulary development, discussion, and evidence-based responses, learners deepen their comprehension skills and become more confident, thoughtful readers prepared for higher-level academic work.
