About This Course

In this interactive, once-a-week Algebra II course, students in grades 8–10 deepen their understanding of function transformations, exponential and logarithmic models, rational functions, sequences, complex numbers, systems, conic sections, and trigonometry. Our curriculum is designed to go beyond typical grade-level Common Core State Standards, with higher expectations for mathematical reasoning, accuracy, and multi-step problem solving.

Through guided instruction, discussion, and challenging practice, students learn to connect equations, graphs, and real-world applications while explaining their reasoning clearly and checking their work carefully. Classes are limited to 4–6 students, allowing teachers to provide personalized support and ensure that every student participates.

Students also receive complimentary after-class assignments and practice activities to reinforce learning, strengthen retention, and build independent study habits. Our goal is to help students achieve strong academic results and prepare confidently for Precalculus and other advanced high school math courses.
