Algebra 1

In this interactive Algebra I course, students strengthen their understanding of linear equations, systems of equations, inequalities, exponents, polynomials, factoring, quadratics, radicals, and rational expressions. The curriculum goes beyond typical grade-level Common Core State Standards by providing greater depth, more challenging applications, and stronger problem-solving practice.

Course Format

• 12 weeks (approximately 3 months)

• 1 live class per week

• Limited to 4–6 students

• Homework assigned after every class

• Daily Practice worksheets for continued skill reinforcement

• Weekly assessments to monitor understanding and progress

• Individual teacher grading and personalized feedback

Through guided instruction, group discussion, and applied problem-solving, students learn to solve and graph equations, connect algebraic concepts to real-world situations, and clearly explain their mathematical reasoning. The small-group format gives every student frequent opportunities to participate, ask questions, and receive personalized support.

After each class, students receive homework based on the concepts and problem-solving strategies taught during the lesson. Daily Practice worksheets provide short, focused practice throughout the week, while weekly assessments measure mastery and identify concepts that may require additional review. Submitted homework and assessments are individually reviewed and graded by the teacher, with personalized feedback to support each student’s progress.
