Algebra 1B
About This Course
In this interactive, once-a-week Algebra I course, students strengthen their understanding of linear equations, systems, inequalities, exponents, polynomials, factoring, quadratics, radicals, and rational expressions. Our curriculum is designed to go beyond typical grade-level Common Core State Standards, offering greater depth, stronger problem-solving practice, and higher academic expectations.
Through guided instruction, group discussion, and applied problem solving, students learn to solve and graph equations, connect algebra to real-world situations, and explain their mathematical reasoning clearly. With only 4–6 students per class, each learner receives personalized support and frequent opportunities to participate.
Students also receive access to a wide range of complimentary after-class assignments and practice activities to reinforce skills, strengthen retention, and encourage independent learning. Our goal is to help students build confidence, achieve strong academic results, and prepare successfully for advanced math courses and assessments.
